When used in conjunction with L-tryptophan, L-tyrosine may positively impact ones mood. There is some research to suggest that L-tyrosine is a building block of epinephrine and norepinephrine (stress hormones). The usual dose is between 500 to 1,000 mg daily. It is not recommended to exceed 12,000 mg daily. L-tyrosine should be taken with a multivitamin and mineral supplement as certain vitamins/minerals help the body utilize L-tyrosine*. Note: L-tyrosine should be taken 30 minutes before meals. L-tyrosine should not be taken by diabetics or women who are pregnant or lactating. The vast majority of L-tyrosine made by other brands comes from animal sources; however Freeda Vitamins is proud to have L-tyrosine which is 100% vegetarian. Serving Size: 1 Tablet Ingredients
